Java Blend Coffee has acquired the rights to The Ville Caffeine Bar establishment located in MAPLE. The Ville was founded by Jenna Oosterholt in 2019 and focussed on a diverse coffee offering and delicious baked goods. Two of the new owners, Adam Bose and Joe Dunford plan to build on the current menu with our own suppliers for baked goods and food options, and keep the coffee menu offering.
Java Blend was originally founded by Theodore Sideris in 1938 and has been a mainstay in Halifax’s North End. Growing now to incorporate both retail locations and wholesale, Java Blend is one of the pre-eminent wholesale suppliers of coffee beans in the area. Current owners Adam Bose, Joe Dunford, Ibrar Ul Haq, and Alex Lee acquired the much-beloved business in 2019.
Java Blend will complimented other fantastic food options at MAPLE including Arthur’s Urban Market grocery concept and The Mercantile Social restaurant.
