Project name revealed and urban murals unveiled…

Students from Saint Mary’s Elementary school shared their urban vision at a construction celebration at the site of Southwest Properties’ latest residential project on Friday, May 2nd, 2014.  Several large-scale, painted plywood murals were unveiled and installed as public art on the hoarding around the Hollis Street lot.

Young visionaries paint urban core

Young urban residents of Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) will share their vision of the kind of community they want to live in.  One hundred and five students from Saint Mary’s Elementary school, aged primary to grade 6, will take part in a painting workshop hosted by Southwest Properties this Friday.  Urban Visionaires

The Grainery Lofts Received LEED® Gold Certification

Halifax, Monday, February 24,  2014 – Southwest Properties is proud to announce that its residential building, The Grainery Lofts, has received LEED® Gold Certification (LEED® for New Construction).  This achievement marks the first privately owned and developed, multi-unit residential building east of Montreal to achieve LEED® Gold status.
